 PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The Physical Education program is designed to give students a well-rounded perspective of the importance of their physical health and fitness all while developing skills through a large variety of sports and physical activities. The Physical Education program allows all students to be the best they can, through a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship and best efforts. All students are encouraged to try their best and be supportive of their peers.

Throughout the PE program students are introduced to and learn a large variety of sports and skills, including Basketball, Football, Netball, Soccer, Hockey and Tennis to name a few. We take great pride in seeing students enjoying being physically active and improving their skills to reach their potential.

·                            Gross motor skills allowing students to understand how their body moves

·                            Fitness games and activities to practice and enhance skills

·                            Spatial awareness activities

·                            Teamwork challenges

·                            Swimming program

·                            School and interschool athletics and cross country

·                            Interschool activities – Hooptime Basketball, Kanga8s cricket

·                            Visiting clinics – AFL, hockey, golf and Cricket
